This month we exhibited at The Aluminium World Trade Fair and Conference, where we showcased our latest advancements in sustainable aluminium production.
As one of the aluminium industry’s largest events Aluminium Dusseldorf is the perfect platform to introduce new concepts and technologies. Our 422m booth in hall 6 was a buzz with visitors looking for advice on how to reduce their carbon footprint whilst still maintaining production levels and metal quality.
Among the highlights was the interest in our X-Series multi chamber furnace, this highly efficient range simultaneously de-coats, pre-heats, and melts aluminium scrap, tailored to reduce heat losses and improve fuel efficiency throughout the cycle – key components in driving sustainable, efficient aluminium production.
Another highlight of our conversations was the ability to transition to alternative fuel sources, having already developed ‘Hydrogen Ready’ technologies that work alongside our existing designs and can be used as a single source hydrogen fuelled combustion system, or blend of hydrogen and natural gas.
This will be the first permanent installation of its kind globally and is currently being installed in several sites across Europe. We are now developing technologies to utilise plasma and advanced electrification to support the industry’s push for greener solutions.
The positive response we received from clients, industry peers, and sustainability advocates at Aluminium 24 affirms that Mechatherm’s innovations are not only meeting the demands of today's market but are paving the way toward amore sustainable aluminium industry.
We’re grateful to everyone who visited our booth and shared in our vision for agreener future in aluminium production.
