Mechatherm Services continues to grow, adding both a Junior Service Engineer position and a Mechanical Engineer to the team. Our UK service division now employs eight people in various roles and will work swiftly to add yet more to our team as we expand into the Middle East with our first branch office.
Created to try and replicate the success of our work in the UK and Europe, Mechatherm Services Middle East will focus on supporting the dozens of furnaces and casthouse equipment we have installed all within an hour of Dubai. We are finalising the legal, financial and geographical details of the office which is due to open at the end of Spring 2017.
Our brand new automatic safety tapping device; SafeTAP will see it’s initial testing phase begin within March. Designed in house to solve the problem of automatically aborting the flow of liquid metal when casting from a static furnace, this device will see its first trial in the coming weeks.
