Holding Furnaces

Mechatherm H-Series are a range of single chamber holding furnaces. Providing consistency and high metal yields, holding furnaces are used in both the alloying process and to ensure molten aluminium is held at the correct temperature for casting.

Our range of holders can be designed with or without hydraulic tilting systems and heated by traditional gas or oil burners or electric resistance elements.

For adaptability we can also provide a hybrid furnace able to function in both a melting or holding capacity dependent on requirements.

Our range spans from the smallest 10T machines to our largest single chamber holding furnaces at more than 180T capacity.
