Mechatherm announce new organisational structure

Building on its 43 year history of providing turnkey solutions to the worldwide aluminium industry, Mechatherm has announced a reorganisation in its management structure, following the recent retirement of Managing Director Chris Emes.
Stuart Allen who has been appointed Director of Sales commented:
“It will be a challenge to overcome the loss of Chris’ services as he has been a key part of Mechatherm’s expansion and success as well as being a leading figure in the sales team for many years”.
In addition to this Mechatherm has also promoted long serving sales team members James Parkes (International Sales Manager) and Lee Hewitt (Projects Engineer).
James now takes on the role of Business Development Manager, responsible for identifying and diversifying on new market products, heading Mechatherm’s R&D initiatives as well as continuing his worldwide technical/commercial sales duties.
Lee will now operate in the role of Technical Sales Manager, taking on more responsibilities in the day to day operation of the Mechatherm sales department. He will work more closely with the engineering department to ensure greater alignment with sales proposals.
Both James and Lee will continue in their normal technical/commercial front line sales roles to ensure that we meet the requirements and demands of our customers. TQM teams have been set up as a platform to drive forward their new responsibilities.
Stuart added: “I am confident that with the reorganisation of our existing sales team and having nearly 60 years’ combined experience, coupled with some new additions to the team, we will continue to serve both our existing and new customers across the worldwide aluminium industry. Our aim is to exceed our sales targets on our core products as well as breaking through on some new exciting ones in the coming years”.
